Charity Shop Christmas Decorations

Finding christmas decorations in Charity shops isn't always easy! Last year I found the grand total of zero! But this year I found a few little gems and thought I would share them with you! I think my success this year was down to starting to buy these things as soon as I saw them back at the start of November.

The first, and possibly my favourite decoration I bought was this ceramic Christmas tree. When I saw it in the Marie Curie shop in Coalville I thought it was just part of their display. Normally I wouldn't have asked, my anxiety over things like that is ridiculous, but I did and the lady said it was for sale! It was also only £1 so of course I had to bring it home with me!

Also from the Marie Curie shop I bought this sparkly christmas present. The photo doesn't do it justice actually as it is really pretty. I paid £1.50 for this one!

The last thing I bought was this little ceramic Santa and fireplace. I found this in the Scope shop in Wigston. Behind the fireplace is a little well which I assumed was a tea light holder but its not as my tea lights don't fit in it! I still like it and it was £2.50.

Have you had any Christmas bargains?

  1. Fantastic finds! I want to build up a collection of Christmas decorations over time - my Mother-in-Law has an amazing array of decorations & I'd love to recreate something similar. She has so many that she puts a lot of her usual ornaments away when she brings the Christmas decorations out as she wouldn't have space for everything! Her house is truly amazing, particularly at Christmas. It takes her a whole week to decorate &, while I wouldn't be able to manage that much, I would like to have some ornaments & decorations to go round the house in addition to our tree. I had never thought to look in charity shops, but will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled now! Xx
