Christmas Day

So today I thought I would share a few pictures from Christmas Day. This year I was really lucky to not be working and get to spend some much needed time with my family. It makes it all special knowing that I generally have to work every other year! I am such a big kid at heart and I could not sleep during the night before! We woke up around 8am and went downstairs to open our presents! I was so lucky to receive some really thoughtful gifts from my family (Post coming up tomorrow)

My grandad came down a little later after we had breakfast. I have mentioned him on the blog before here but in short he is my absolute world. I adore him, and he is doing very well for 94!

We tried to get a good photo of us all at the table with my selfie stick but this is about the best we could do. My mom always puts on an amazing spread starting with smoked salmon and prawns followed by turkey and all the trimmings!

Usually during the afternoon I get loads of photos of us with our presents etc but after lunch I went for a 3 hour nap. Thank you fibromyalgia for flaring up right after Christmas dinner, really appreciated that,

Then, dinner buffet was my work! We had all the cheeses including this amazing stilton with port glaze that I tried for free with the orchard at tesco! We then spent the rest of the night just chilling.

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and feel free to link up your Christmas posts below!
