On Thursday night I was invited to the Kitchen Launch at The Cookie in Leicester. I will have to admit, it is a venue I have heard about before but had never actually visited. I am actually terrible at the fact that I have been living in and around leicester for just over 6 years now and there are so many places I want to visit and yet still haven't.
Located on the High Street the venue is easy to get to. The kitchen will be offering breakfast, lunch and early evening bites (The brunch menu looked amazing and Tom and I are already planning on checking that out).
We were given the opportunity to try out some of their amazing menu, pictured above is the Reuben sandwich, which I fell in love with. I am always a fan of what I describe as "posh toasties" and I would definately enjoy this as a lunch. We also tried the fish and chips (with the nicest tartare sauce I have ever had the pleasure of tasting) and Mac and Cheese which was seriously creamy. It had red onion which added a pleasent crunch.
So I recommend you get yourself down there as soon as possible! If you want to you can check out there Facebook Page here.
Hopefully there will be a post about brunch there pretty soon!
