HOW I plan to take control over my health


So in yesterdays post I opened up a little about why I am taking control of my health but now I want to share with you what I will be doing.

Combing the 5:2 diet with Slimming World

I used to do the 5:2 diet and one of the things I found was that on my fast days I could really focus on my mental health. I enjoy going for slow walks, doing yoga and just spending time thinking and drinking green tea on these days.

Do Yoga Every day

This is something I have tried before but I am going to succeed. Even if I only do it for 10 minutes!

Give up red meat and processed foods

So I am not becoming a vegetarian but I am going to try and aim for less meat and more vegetarian meals. I will probably occasional have red meat, but very rarely.

Read everyday

Since buying our Lumie light we have really been trying to improve our sleep habits. One of the things that we have done is ban phones and tablets and laptops from the bedroom. I sit downstairs and watch telly before heading up to bath and bed and so I will be using the time in bed to catch up with my reading.
