EMPTIES: Part Two: Bath and Body

If you havent seen part one of this empties you can see it here. As I mentioned before empties are a marmite post in the blogging world but I love them. If someone has used the whole product they are in a much better position to judge it! So lets begin!

Firstly I have the beauticology gingerbread sparkle body wash. I had this in a christmas gift set last year and it was kind of pushed to the back of my collection during the warmer months but I used it up recenlty as its beginning to get colder! It has a lovely strong scent and the glitter doesnt stick all over you. I cant find it for sale anywhere online so I am not sure of the price!

Would I Repurchase? Possibly, its not something I would rush out to buy but if i could get it on offer i didnt dislike it.

Secondly is the beauticology strawberry macron body wash. I bought this for £1 in a charity shop and I was really underwhelmed by the scent. There was no payoff to the scent and it didnt lather very well.

Would I Repurchase? No.

Next is the Balm balm detox bath and shower oil. I think i got this in a beauty box (and I havent been subscribed to any this year which shows the depths of my stash!) I really enjoyed it and it felt like the ultimate luxury! On their website they sell this collection for £27

Would I Repurchase? No. I couldnt justify spending £27 on bath oils but if anyone wanted to buy them me for Christmas I wouldnt say no!

Next is the body shops glazed apple bath jelly. I dont often by things from the body shop, as much as I love their products I find them quite pricey but I fell in love with this scent and Tom kindly treated me to things from them for christmas! I have tried and tried to make this last so getting to the end of it was rather upsetting!

Would I Repurchase? Yes. and everything else in that scent!

Next is the aussie no rush body wash. I have been a fan of the aussie hair care range for years, I used to swear by it exclusively when I had a bit more money spare to splurge on haircare! So when i saw this in the 50p clearance section at my local wilkos I couldnt resist giving it a try. I love the scent and I love how it lathers up! At £4.75 RRP though there is no way I would spend this much on shower gel when you get so many great ones for £1!

Would I Repurchase? Yes but only if I found it reduced again!

Last is the nivea powerfruit fresh shower gel. I am pretty sure I picked this up at tesco for £1 but now it seems to be unavailable online! Its such a shame because this product, true to nivea, felt amazing on the skin, lathered up like a dream and smelt amazing. I love fruity scents to get me up and going and so I really hope I can track this down!

Would I Repurchase? Yes if it hasnt been discontinued.

So there you have it, my very last empties post here on Discovering Charlotte! If you want to keep up to date these should be going live the last week of each month over on Shoestring Chic from November!

Do you know I have a fashion blog? Read it here

  1. I love Aussie, but only buy them now and again. And what a great bargain though at just 50p!
